Maverick Battery Packs
The battery pack features its own dedicated LED power indicator, allowing you to check the exact remaining charge even when it’s not installed in the board.

The pack can automatically enter sleep mode during long periods of inactivity or low charge, and it can also be manually powered off via the button. Sleep mode significantly extends battery lifespan and is essential for long‑term storage.
Using a 3.3V high/low‑level mechanical‑style detection system with 100% accuracy, the battery only enables high‑voltage discharge when it detects a valid load such as the board or the Battery Hub. This eliminates leakage risks and prevents arcing at the source.
Charge the battery through the board’s built‑in charging port or charge the pack independently—whichever fits your setup.

Different battery models deliver different power, acceleration, and braking profiles through ESC communication.

Maverick FOC ESC
Our custom FOC ESC is equipped with 24 high‑spec discharge MOSFETs. To achieve optimal thermal performance, the ESC is mounted inside a forged 6061 aluminum baseplate and fully potted. The entire baseplate acts as a heat sink, and at high speeds, airflow rapidly pulls heat away. This design gives Maverick’s power system a maximum discharge capability of 80A.

ESC recognizes different battery packs and switches power profiles — unlocking unlimited possibilities ahead
FAQs
What is the max weight allowed on the board?
260lbs / 118kg
What’s the top speed of Maverick ?
Maverick S : Up to 32mph / 52kph
Maverick Pro : Up to 34mph / 55kph
Is the Maverick waterproof ?
An electric skateboard is not an amphibious landing ship — it cannot be used on both land and water. Any exposure to water poses a risk of damage to electronic components, bearings, and screws.
We’ve put significant effort into improving Maverick’s water‑resistance, including adding a sealing gasket around the battery compartment, potting the battery pack, using waterproof connectors, and nickel‑plated screws.
However, like all electric skateboards, Maverick is not waterproof, and we do not recommend riding it in wet conditions.
Warranty
- In order to provide excellent service and protection as well as fairness, we warranty different parts of our boards for different time lengths. Our goal is to get our customers back on the road as soon as possible when they experience an issue, while making sure we have a sustainable business model. Unless stated otherwise below all warranties on complete boards are transferrable with original proof-of-purchase.
- Lorentz reserves the right to change the conditions of our warranty at any time.
Mechanical Parts
- We provide a one (1) year warranty period for any problem found on non-electronic mechanical parts related to manufacturing quality. These parts include enclosures, trucks, gear drives, motor mounts, and wheels.
Electronic Parts
- We provide a six (6) month warranty period for any problem found on electronic parts related to manufacturing quality. These parts include Maverick deck (light strips inside ),electronic speed controllers (ESC), Maverick batteries, motors, lighting, remotes, chargers, and BMS.
Consumable Parts
- Parts such as bearings, bushings, belts, grip tape, paint, gear grease, bash guards, tools, lanyards, and other items reasonably considered consumable are not covered by any warranties and are not eligible for discounts unless expressly provided through communication with Lorentz.
